Both ;3; I love some traditional things like drawing in pencils and pastels and watercolors. Also some other paints like oils, but I have difficulty with them... But I really hate doing collages (cause I suck at them) and using acrylics. Also sometimes traditional art is too hard to control >A< I'm just starting with digital media really, I'm such a newb at it, but I hope I can get better and I honestly have much more drive and hope to improve digitally than traditionally, cause the fact that I'm best with a pencil makes me trust more my likely hood to get better with a tablet pen- plus, I want to be a digital artist more. I just gotta keep practicing and try to learn as much as I can ;v;
I love traditional means because I feel more connected with what I'm doing. I get to touch my pencils and brushes and get my hands dirty with ink or paint. And is more exciting because you can ruin your whole piece with only one touch and you have to be so careful (I never am). I love that. As for digital, I'm not really so good. I would like to learn more, but I feel I'm never gonna be so in love as I am with traditional media.
I think both mediums have a lot to offer, but I tend to lean more towards traditional. It may not be quite as forgiving and therefore flexible with errors as digital coloring, there is something a tad more personal, and organic. I'm kinda dabbling with digital myself, no real experience as of yet. And I have to admit, it's an odd thing to color, or greytone without having the actual piece (on paper) in front of me.
In my case it will be traditional, brcause every trial of doing something on my comp meets with a dead-end. Maybe it's because I'm a little out-dated, I like oldchool stuff and all... But judging other artists on DevArt and thier works I'd like to say... It's time to wipe the dust from my brand new but unused tablet and try to beat the competition.

But when I do, I'll still say traditional.
