NOTE :: MORE QUESTION UPDATE

Q : Where can I get copic markers? Do you have any recommended place?

A : There are several places selling Copic markers. You may check out you local art stores. Or as *SheCow recommendation, go browsing on Ebay. Ebay has more choices and probably sometimes has a very surprised deal! Check it out! =D

NEWS :: As :iconrabbittwins8788: mentions, "you can get copics from dickblick.com at a discount whereas buying them else where. (discount is at most 40% of the actual cost of copics)

Q : Copic markers are still expensive, Any brand do you recommend with a lower price?

A : Even though Copic markers are the best one for me, I admit that the price is still high. For some of you who want to use other brands, I recommend Neopiko from DELETER. These markers work pretty well and easy to blend like Copic markers (not 100% but yeah, still good enough to use!). And of course they come out with good price. But just keep in mind that Neopiko might hard to find on stores compare with Copic. So if you're interested, check 'em online. Yo!

For Prisma and Tristars markers...I've never used them so I can't tell about how good or tips...sorry about that TAT

=================

YAY! as I promised before *got shot*...hope it will be helpful for you guys. Any question for copic markers are welcome (umm...if I can answer as well TwT)..lol

I originally worked with prismacolor, and I found Copic markers to be SO much better. I buy my copics full priced from copicmarker.com and they are about five dollars each for the ciao, which is the same for prismacolors, but because copic's are refillable, they are more economic in the long run. The refills are ten dollars each, but refill a ciao marker around sixteen times. I've had to replace the skin tone for prismacolor three times, so they do run out quickly depending on how often you use them.

it all depends. no, you can't refill them but they're a lot cheaper to buy so singles cost lest to replace versus copics. if you keep the caps on them whenever you're not using them (even when you're drawing but not using that color) then they last for a while. i'm happy with my copics, which i use 'cause they're cheaper, and they've lasted me without replacements yet. but copic sketches especially the brush nib is amazing for coloring though

i wrote up a journal entry on the topic if you're seeking to go into art markers :) [link]
