I didn't think about Howl's Moving Castle when I saw this, but on the other hand, Miyazaki's ways are many and mysterious

Wow the gold really works well supporting the decorative effects and adding a quite original touch to it. The colours are overall pretty powerful. Seem to shine.

I do like the layers in all of this...the use of crackle and the bright colours makes this stand out, especially the blue of the girl's dress compared to the yellows of the background. Awesome!
