Artist's Comments

...It's actually done from last quarter, for Pencil and Inking I for Sequential Art class YES! IT WAS FOR CLASS ASSIGNMENT (just realize few days ago that I haven't scanned this one yet....so forgetful though!). All students are required to design the tree characters (a female victim, Jack the Ripper, and our hero Batman) in Victorian style. The original scrip is written by Brian Augustyn.

This class was pretty tough and loaded works! but the professor [Tom Lyle] was really awesome and I've learned a lot from him (have to practice more x 1000 times drawing perspective...OTL)

Tools :: G-pen, Black ink, White gel pen.

You have a pretty heavy hand with the solids which I need to try more, because I spend way to much time cross-hatching. To me this page is the perfect balance of detail for the medium. Anything more would weigh down the story-telling. Very satisfying.

You have such an awesome art style. This is the future of comics(or hopefully manga *wink*)
Question. I've never tried white ink. does it apply well over the black. or how do you do that?
